WHAT IS TOPAZ PHOTO AI?

Tips and Tricks
As it is a program that I have used quite a lot, I am going to give you some tips and tricks, so that you get better results.
First of all, we are going to configure it to our taste, go to Edit/preferences
The type of processing, set it to Auto, so the program will choose between using the Graphics card or the CPU, as it considers faster, depending on your computer.
Enable lens correction, if you upload a RAW file it will correct the distortion of the lens with which the photo was taken.grafía.
Autopilot
If you are going to upload a wide variety of images, select default, you also have the Portrait option for portraits and landscape for landscapes, select one of these options, logically if you are only going to upload images of this theme.
Disable automatic face detection, so that preprocessing will be much faster.
Subsequently, you can decide whether it is necessary to activate it and also perform the upgrade.

Scaling in general I leave it at 4x, but you can set it up to 6x.
Noise removal
Use the new «Recover Original Details» option, move the slider to the right until you are satisfied with the result, it will recover the lost details, keeping the noise removal.
If your photograph has text, activate the «Preserving Text» option, paint over the Text you want to recover, to improve its readability.

Resolution Increase and Face Enhancement
The original image does not have much resolution (427px x 640px), and the definition is not very good.
So I have increased it 4x, the program has chosen the best values after analyzing the photo.
I have pressed Faces, so that the face option is activated and I have activated face recovery, from experience I advise you to use not very high values, since otherwise it would be excessively «focused» and would not give natural results.
You can just as before, press the right button and see the image in a new tab, to see what parameters I have used specifically.
Processing of several images at the same time.
I use this option a lot to save time, first I improve an image until I’m satisfied: increase resolution, improve face if necessary, noise, focus or whatever is needed.
Once this is done, I click on the 3 dots of that image and select Apply «current setting to all», and that same configuration is applied to all the images that I have open.
Then I select to save all the images, and it gives me the option to save them in Jpg, png, tiff or DNG, I tell it in which folder, I want it to save them, and that’s it.
